Answers to the questions we hear most from new clients.
Your first session is an intake appointment where Candice gets to know you, your history, and your goals. She'll ask about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Together, you'll create a personalized treatment plan. There's no pressure — most clients feel relief just from having a safe space to talk.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or struggling in your relationships, therapy can help. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit — many people start therapy to develop better coping skills, improve communication, or work through a life transition. If something feels off, that's reason enough.
